Can I work after I apply for an onshore partner visa?

Can I work in Australia after I apply for an onshore partner visa? Do I get automatic work rights at that stage?

And can I marry in Australia at all when I'm on a tourist visa? And will I be prevented from applying if I have a family stream tourist visa with a Condition 8503 No Further Stay?
