Education and schools in the Philippines. Are they better? And should you leave kids in the Philippines to get educated, or should you bring them to Australia? Chris Bennetts, former long-time resident of the Philippines and Down Under Visa client gives his educated opinion on whether the kids get a better education by finishing their schooling in Philippines or coming to Australia and enrolling in an Australian public school or private school.
The bottom line should always be what's best for the children, whether they are Filipino Australian children (ie with an Australian biological father) or if you married a single mother and the question comes up whether you should include the children in a partner visa application as secondary applicants, bring them later to Australia on a child visa, or to get them citizenship by descent (if qualified) and bring them to Australia to be with their new family.
