The Philippines has some tough laws against matchmaking between Filipina ladies and foreigners under Republic Act 6955, or RA6955. This outlaws any marriage agencies or any service or business online or physical that is there to match up men from overseas (such as Australia) with girls from the Philippines. These laws are in place to prevent ladies being exploited by those who would objectify Filipinos for profit.
